2001 Saul Bell Design Award Winners
The inaugural Saul Bell Design Award competition
challenged designers to unleash their imagination and create innovative
designs in any of four categories using Charles & Colvard Created
Moissanite.
Category One:
Charles & Colvard Created Moissanite
jewels up to 4mm in size, using up to 20 jewels
Category Two:
Charles & Colvard Created Moissanite
jewels up to 6mm in size, using up to nine jewels
Category Three:
Charles & Colvard Created
Moissanite jewels up to 8mm in size, using up to 3 jewels
Category Four:
Any combination of up to three
fancy-shaped Charles & Colvard Created Moissanite jewels
Prizes were awarded in four categories, with four
second place winners, three first place winners and a grand prize winner
selected from the first place winner in each category. Below we present
each of the eight winners of the 2001 competition and the 10 finalists.
